		<description>Yes, they&#039;re fine.  As a beginner, the quality of your first clubs is not so important, rather building a good swing is critical.  Once you are able to hit the ball with some degree of skill, then move up to better clubs.  You&#039;d hate to drop $600 bucks on a good set and find you loathe the game (please speak to my wife about this...) but a $200 set will be just fine.  

Oh, yeah, take a lesson or two.  It REALLY helps.</description>

My advice would be not to overspend.  About $200 to $250 would be about right.  Once you improve, you&#039;ll want to explore different types of clubheads, shafts, grips, etc.   That will be the time to talk to a pro to select a stanndard set that you will keep for a few more years until you get to the point where you might want to have clubs custom made for your particular swing and ability.</description>
