Villegas won the Honda Classic title
Colombian Camilo Villegas player has won the Honda Classic title in Palm Beach Gardens, Florida, after the arrest a European challenge led by Justin Rose.
But Villegas was not willing to let their hard-earned sheet take and won by five strokes of the second American Anthony Kim, landing his third PGA Tour title and one day pay millions of dollars. Villegas dropped three strokes on five of the nine-hole round, however, ended in style with a long putt for birdie on 18 to card a round of 68 and a total of 13 in its week. This score up to five strokes ahead of Kim, who has followed up yesterday with a disappointing 73 67 much better.
Rose shot 64 sparkling six shots below normal in the finals to advance to third place at seven under for the tournament, and his British colleague Paul Casey finished one shot back a share of fourth place with Vijay Singh of Fiji.
Casey, who followed his opening 73 with a walk Monday 64th, was again today tied with a 67 that included four birdies classic five holes from 12 to 16.
Singh challenge faltered, as he made bogeys, 15, 16 and 17 in two rounds over 72.
Sweden Fredrik Jacobson shared sixth place with American Michael Connell after carding 69 for the fourth successive rounds.
